Overview
This beautiful waterfront rental home captures the gorgeous Door County sunsets. The view from inside and outside on the deck is just spectacular. The home displays a stone beach for swimming and handmade fire pit enjoyment in the evenings. The property is just south of Egg Harbor, 5 miles from Murphy Park on Bay Shore Drive. Murphy Park provides a pier, sand beach, picnic area, and boat launch. It is a mere jaunt to wonderful wineries, shops, dining and coffeehouses. The home also provides Free wireless Internet and all linens! Lovely interior for family to share with 2 master suites and a 3rd bedroom with sleeping capacity for 4-6 guests and bath upstairs. Nice large dining table to eat together and play games! Settle in, you may just stay here for the whole vacation!

Jul 30-Aug 5, 2022 – We’ve been coming to Door County for over 20 years, and this was our 2nd year staying here at Door Haven. The house surely didn’t disappoint, and the beach was perfect for launching our kayaks. The central air and fans in the upstairs bedroom helped keep things cool. This location can’t be beat! We brought 4 people from Naperville, IL, one from Chicago, and one from Highland, IN, and we had a great time together, and Door Haven provided enough space for us to spread out. I enjoyed the lighted “runway” that the back deck provided so I could go stargazing each night. September 2022 – Four writers enjoyed Door Haven – the beautiful view, comfortable bedrooms, large dining room and pretty living room inspired us as we worked on our novels and short stories. Aug 5-Aug 12-2023 – Another beautiful Door Haven week! This our 3rd time here and have put our name in for next year. We love everything about Door Haven, wonderful beds, fully stocked kitchen, nothing is missing. Being on the shore of Green Bay is so beautiful. And beautiful sunsets! So enjoy every day here. Our friends booked Door Haven so we could enjoy a Midwestern fall. The home was cozy, clean and well-stocked for cooking. The view from the patio was absolutely stunning with gorgeous sunsets every night and if you’re lucky, you can see an eagle 🦅 catching its morning breakfast. We enjoyed the fire pit and patio swing too! We hope to be back again soon & we definitely will book our stay at Door Haven!

2 families from Beaver Dam had a lovely time at Door Haven! Spent many evenings watching the sunset made many meals on the grill despite the rainy weather. Attempted to go parasailing twice with no luck. Alas! 3rd times a charm. Had a beautiful time sailing in Sister Bay. Very thankful to spend a relaxing week in such a beautiful location! Thank you!

This is our 3rd year at Door Haven and perhaps the best, because the internet was up all the time. Enjoyed many sunsets with a fire on shore most nights. Weather was in the 70's each day and in the low 60's at night. A lot of boat traffic on the weekends but little during the week. Saw several lake freighters passing by. Many days hazy due to the forest fires in Canada and out West, but that made for very red sunsets. Grilling was great and kitchen well equipped. Made daily trips around the Door but always coming home to Door Haven! Hopefully, the crew will be back next year, for our 4th time.

Just finished our week long stay at Door Haven. We have been coming to Door County every summer for twenty five years and this is by far, the best rental home we have stayed at. Everything we needed was here, the kitchen was stocked, very well stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans,etc. All linens provided, very comfortable beds, and each bedroom had a private bathroom, plus a half bath on main floor. The beauty of the setting of this home is so peaceful, serene, and the lake is amazing. This will be our rental for all the vacations in our future. So wonderful that this home is available for us to enjoy! Kitty J

We spent a wonderful fall weekend at Door-Haven and the view of the lake was exquisite! The house was immaculate and we hand everything we needed to prepare meals. The house had a plenty of room and the bedroom upstairs was adorable, We enjoyed sitting on the swinging chair and watching the sunset. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing vacation. Liz K

This was the 2nd year our Big Chill group of 3 couples enjoyed Door Haven. The weather was great, we saw the many faces of the waters of Green Bay from fierce to calm, enjoyed nightly campfires on the beach at sunset and mostly enjoyed hanging out together on the deck and shore. The house and its amenities are all anyone needs and with Covid, there was enough sanitary supplies available. Don’t forget to bring an oscillating fan for the upstairs since it only has 1 window. We saw otters, deer, squirrels and chipmunks on the property as well as eagles, pelicans, seagulls and other birds in the sky. This year the shore under the cedars was cleaned up so you could sit under them and enjoy the Bay when the deck is in full sun. The internet was down for almost half the week and that affected cell phone service but not the Dish TV. We’ve already rescheduled for next year mid-July since Door Haven is so great.

We loved it! Lundquist was so easy to work with and very helpful. The house is in a perfect spot for the most beautiful sunsets. We thoroughly enjoyed the most gorgeous sunsets every night of our stay. The house was extremely clean, which was terrific. It was so comfortable and worked perfectly for us. We had two teen girls with us and they loved having the upstairs bedroom as their private hangout :-) They also enjoyed the double swing on a small patio overlooking the lake. The beach is small and rocky, but we were told the bay is at high levels, so I'm thinking the beach area is usually a little bigger. It was such a quiet, relaxing place to be. It was also a good location to reach anywhere in Door County very easily. The wifi worked beautifully and the house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again and look forward to it!

Great house, great views! Perfect for our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids). The 4 kids loved being upstairs in their own room. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need. Washing machine was a huge plus! Kids loved throwing rocks in the water plus the beach is perfect for a bonfire. Door Haven was a great place for our families to hang out and relax. Thank you!

My wife and I enjoyed the amenities at Door Haven with 2 other couples and all we can say is spectacular time was had by all. We stayed a full week and found the location perfect for day/night trips around the Door. Close to Sturgeon Bay for groceries so we didn't need to stock up at all. We grilled, we enjoyed sunsets from the beautiful new deck swing on the shore and built fires almost every night. The water was warm, but lake level high offering a daily change to wave action. The kitchen was perfect and well stocked, living and dining room large and bedrooms great. The 3 full bathrooms were appreciated with a half bath near garage was helpful but the upstairs bedroom was a bit stuffy with only one window. You have to learn to be a bit frugal with water though, since all goes into a holding tank...watch the red light. Everyday we marvelled at how wonderful Door Haven was. We already have made our reservations for next year at Door Haven.

We had a wonderful stay over 4th of July holiday here at Door Haven. It was a perfect place for our family to be reunited. We loved the swing by the water and fires on the beach. Our 2 year old grandson loved every minute of throwing rocks in the water. We kayaked everyday. We loved all the beds and bathrooms. Very well stocked! Yearly gathering of the 60's chicks! We enjoyed our stay in spite of rain and high winds. We stopped at all the wineries we came across and then walked the paths at Cave Point. Fortunately no one fell in since it was after testing all the wine! The house was so great, plenty of room for games and well stocked with dishes, etc. We celebrated two birthdays! We had a wonderful 4th of July holiday here at Door Haven! It was a perfect place for our family to be reunited. We loved the swing by the water and fires on the beach!
