  2. Stayed here the last week of June and the house is amazing. Incredibly nice house, amazing open layout and view. The boardwalk was beautiful along with the view of the bay we were on from the large 2nd story picture windows. Very clean and well appointed. When we stayed there was a large number of folding camp chairs down stairs as well as a charcoal grill that we used. The beach unfortunately had a large amount of algae, dead fish etc. from some previous days storms, so we did not swim from it, though just be aware it is very rocky and there is no sand. Older kids would probably be fine, but young children not so much. There are though 2 amazing public beaches less than 20 minutes away, neither were crowded at all. One at Bailey's Ridge Park in Baileys Harbor and the other in Jacksonport. We did launch kayaks from the beach we rented and just a short paddle out and you can see the Cana Island lighthouse, the kids loved that. Overall was very impressed.

  3. We spent 10 days here, and were taken by the views and the serenity. A wonderful place to unwind and and unhook for awhile. The home is very well equipped and plenty spacious for large groups. If you love the peacefulness of nature in a comfortable home, you'll love it here. We will definitely go back.

  4. Hi Margaret! Thank you for your kind review! We love this area too and you are right - the view of Like Michigan is great! So happy you and your party enjoyed your stay! Please do come again! And P.S. The the lemon cookie gelato from The Creamery is so yummy! ;)

  5. We have been visiting Door County for years, but this was our first time coming in the fall and vacationing on the Lake side of the Peninsula and we are very glad we did and delighted with our stay at Paradise North. The house is perfectly situated so that all rooms have lake views and smartly designed so that the living quarters are located on the second floor, with its walls of windows providing a full-on fabulous view of the Lake no matter where you are. We cooked several meals at the house (taking full advantage of the view) and were pleased with the well-appointed kitchen— we appreciated the second coffee maker so we didn’t have to rotate between satisfying the caffeinated and the decaffeinated first each morning as well as the food processor, affording us more time to enjoy that view. We had several cyclists in our group and they found the streets in the surrounding area to offer safe riding and pleasant scenery. We explored parts of the Peninsula that we hadn’t before, lots of new experiences that we look forward to repeating, especially the unbelievable goat-milk gelato at The Creamery in Sister Bay! Great stay!
