Overview

Kangaroo Lake is a beautiful 1100 acre glacier formed, spring fed lake, located in the heart of the Door Peninsula. This clean, shallow lake provides excellend swimming, canoeing and water skiing.  Guests may also enjoy fishing for bass, perch and walleye.

The Chalet Cottage at Sunset Shores Resort is located near parks, villages, beaches and golf courses to round off a perfect balance for visitors who enjoy lots of activities and then return to a cozy spot for those quiet relaxing times that provide all the memories of a wonderful vacation.

The Chalet Cottage is a year round cottage with a vaulted ceiling that opens up to a sleeping loft with two twin beds. The comfortable living room has a sleeper sofa TV and DVD and opens up to a well equipped kitchen and dining area. The large master bedroom has a queen size bed and plenty of closet space.  A French door opens to a wood deck with picinc table and charcoal grill.

Only a few steps away, guests will find a swing set, play area, bonfire pit, lawn furniture and 217 feel of beautiful shoreline on the ‘sunset’ side of Kangaroo Lake.

The cottage is pet friendly for an additional fee.
